Our Vision
We proclaim Jesus, the Christ, as the head of the church and the Word of God made flesh. At the same time, we teach the Word of God in a simple and understandable way. So that it can be used practically and effectively in our everyday lives (Mark 6:34; Acts 26:16-18).
Our Mission
Building a community of believers who know their God and the power of His covenant and manifest the fruits and benefits (blessings) of that covenant in their lives.
Our beliefs
At LET LIGHT SHINE e.V. we believe:
- that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day, he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where he sits at the right hand of Almighty God.
- that after death, eternal life begins either in heaven or in hell. The decisive factor is the decision to appoint Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. This decision determines where you will spend eternal life.
- that at the Rapture those who have fallen asleep in Christ will rise first and then the living, who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, will ascend and meet Him in heaven.
- that the Bible was written and inspired by God.
- that faith means walking according to the word of God.
- to water baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- to the authority (power) in the name of Jesus.
- that speaking in tongues is a sign of the Holy Spirit living in us, with whom we have also been baptized.
- Divine healing - restoration of health for all who believe in the Word of God and live according to its truth. We also believe that Jesus is our healer and that we are already healed through his wounds.
- to freely give tithes and offerings to the local church. The local church is a place of membership to which God has called us to continually receive His Word and to grow spiritually.
- alms for the poor, the sick, the homeless and other people in need.
